Bishop Henr y Valtor ta, Vicar
Apostolic of Hong Kong, invited the
Irish Jesuits to his Vicariate in 1926.
Fr. George Byrne and Fr. John Neary
arrived from Dublin on 2 December
1926. They celebrated first Mass on
the missionary soil in Hong Kong on
the Feast of St. Francis Xavier the
following day.
香港代牧區宗座代牧恩理覺主教邀
請愛爾蘭耶穌會會士來港。
潘佐治神父及John Near y神父於
Bishop Henry Valtorta
1926年12月2日抵港。兩人於翌日，即
恩理覺主教
聖方濟沙勿略瞻禮，在香港舉行首次
彌撒。
