In 1927, Fr. Patrick Joy and Fr.
Richard Gallagher became the
first Jesuit editors of the monthly
Catholic journal "The Rock". It had
an international subscription and
lasted until the Japanese invasion in
December 1941.
蔡伯德神父及嘉利華神父於1927年出
任天主教《磐石》月刊的編輯。耶穌會
會士自此擔當了是項職務多年，該月刊
讀者遍及全球，直至1941年12月日本佔
領香港才停止出版。
